Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Ruchel Jarach-Sztern My mother and I were visiting family in the USA (NY) and noticed very interested shop signs in the Lower East Side, featuring a mix of various languages. I was a young student at the time, and this is how my thesis about Yiddish words and expressions being used in American English came to be. Once I graduated, I re-worked it for a larger audience and published it. I was not expecting the enthusiasm!
