I read it out loud to my 5-year-old daughter & she was laughing hysterically for most of it. My 2-year-old stayed engaged as well because of the fast pace & graphic novel format.

My brother is almost 6 and liked it. I’m 7 1/2 and thought it was good also.

It depends on the child, but it's great for kids who want something more challenging than picture books, but not quite ready for regular chapter books. Graphic novels are great at getting kids to love reading.

My daughter is 6, she LOVES these books. She likes me to read them at bedtime OR she can read them herself as part of her reading practice. My initially reading it motivated her to read it herself because it was so funny to her. You have to do silly voices.
Ashley Verity
I think seven and up.

Robin
