I think about this a lot. I have never known a writer who experienced "writer's block" and I have heard other writers express the same thing. Normally, the problem is the opposite. We have so many ideas but we don't have enough time to flesh them all out!
As a graphic novelist, I have so many ideas I want to draw that I cannot keep up with drawing them, since drawing takes longer. This is why I also get other folks to draw my side projects or do really short stories to just get ideas out there. The question isn't, "What can I write next?" It's, "Of all the ideas in my mind, which one am I able to write out next? Which ones stay in the mental crockpot for another year or two?"
If I ever experience writer's block or know anyone who does, I'll get back to you!
