Slither was in the far north trying to overthrow the Triumvirate. He did lots of useful things behind the scenes. Even now he may be trying to rule the defeated Kobalos. Lukrasta is dead and Alice never loved him but did share his bed because of the debt she owed Pan. But now Tom and Alice are together again and will still be together if the book I am writing now ever gets published. We couldn’t have had Jenny’s death from her perspective because she wasn’t alive to record it in her notebook. Tom was the only witness able to do that.

Hi Joseph, As per all of your other books, I have devoured The Beast Awakens in such a short time! It was fabulous, and I just love the way you write, and I am therefore anxiously awaiting the next in the Aberrations series. How long until I am put out of my misery? I may well have to re-read all of the Spooks series to bridge the gap :)
