Write. The best thing I can do when I'm stuck is to write. It may be crap I'll never use or it may lead me somewhere. Either way, it's helpful and a great way to get started.
Also, don't let fear hold you back. It's okay to be scared but it shouldn't prevent you from doing something you love. It took me years to figure this out.
