Lois Lowry I like the way the film portrays the book; and yes, I was on the set and met the actors. I thought each one was very well suited.

Hello, I was reading The Giver with my students, but they had a difficult time grasping and understanding the text. Students asked me if I could show them a movie that shared the story of The Giver. I was wondering if you ever considered having your book be adapted into a movie? Also, how would you illustrate the events that occur in the text for a student with a learning disability?
