The current English editions of Demons are between 700 and 900 pages.

There is a large variation in page counts in part because different versions contain different reader aids like an introduction and notes.

However, even if you ignore "extra" stuff, the same novel is never the same number of pages between different publishers because of differences in the page size, page margins, font, font size, and line spacing.

Using a different language of course changes the page count, too!
