I really enjoyed Sufficiently Advanced Magic. I'd really love a roleplaying game for that setting. Have you ever thought about something like that?
Andrew Rowe
Yes, definitely.
I run some tabletop games in the setting already, but the rules set is hacked together and incomplete.
There's a LARP rules set that's actually a little further along, but still not quite ready for publication.
I will most likely publish one or both of these eventually.
I'd love to get some PC or console games made in the same universe, too, but that's something that's a much larger project. While I could do something very basic by myself, I'd rather get a good team to work on it and make something impressive. That's probably many years off, but I'd still like to see it at some point down the line.

I am currently listening to Sufficiently Advanced Magic for the second time after finishing On the Shoulders of Titans. Corin mentions several times that he'd like to be able to create simulacra. Teft mentions in his explanation of simulacra they require both mental and life mana with some grey mana to create. With Corin's attunement combination he should be able to create simulacra. Is this something he will learn?

Sarah mentions that when she uses Mana types from her contracts she copies Mana already in her body. Is this something that requires a contract or could a sufficiently experienced summoner learn how to do it without a contract? I would assume if someone learned how they would keep it secret due to the huge advantage it would provide. also can Sarah use her contract allowed mana types when helping Corwan enchant?
