Robin M. Helm My most recent solo book, Understanding Elizabeth, let me explore something I've thought about for a long time: How much would you give to get what you want? How much would you be willing to pay?

I also had one of those lightbulb moments. Gayle suggested that Darcy would read Elizabeth's private writings and find out what she thought of him. I took that and developed it by trapping them at Netherfield together for an extended time.
