What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Lydia Gastrell My advice would depend on the aspiring writers' goals. If they want to make a living at it and quit their day jobs, then practicality would force me to advise them to look into what is popular, what sells, and see if they can mold their own ideas to those hot genres. If the goal is not necessarily money, then I say JUST WRITE. With self-publishing these days, you can put out anything your imagination conjures and it will be live and available to everyone within hours. E-publishing has changed the market in extraordinary ways.
