What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Nadine Brandes Go to a writer's conference! This is always my first piece of advice for anyone serious about writing. You will learn so much and the professionals can always teach you something. There isn't an author I know who didn't have his/her mind blown from their first conference. Sometimes it takes a week or two (or five or ten) of recovery after the first conference, but if you push through, your writing will be that much better!
