Goodreads asked Alex D.T. Baker:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Alex D.T. Baker I've never actually had, what I would consider to be, full-on writer's block. I've always got new ideas. And, when I'm working on something, I usually have a steady stream of visuals in my head of where I want it to go. I've had times where I just hit brain overload for the day or was stumped on exactly how I wanted to proceed with a description, etc. I find walking away for a bit to be good. Listening to music. Taking a walk. Or just sitting in a public place and watching or talking to people. Nothing trips the juices like hearing another person's account of something going on in their life or having them just provide a nice distraction.
