I wrote Serafina to provide a story to my daughters about a strange and unusual girl with a heroic heart.
Yes, I've always wanted to be a writer. I wrote my first novel when I was 11 (it was awful) and have been practicing ever since, trying to get better.

Hello, Mr. Beatty, I know I've already submitted 2 other questions, but I can't help but do this one too- sorry if I'm interrupting anything- but, I've been to your website about the Serafina and Willa books, and I was thinking it might be nice to keep updates on there too, although, as an author the schedule might be busy- but I wouldn't know! Also will Willa of the Wood have the same characters as Serafina?
