The cover we see isn't the final cover. It's just a placeholder cover until the actual cover is revealed.
So long for what to come out? The books? It takes time to write a book. Authors have other responsibilities to take care of besides writing. Not to mention her publisher and editor has to approve it. Richelle actually puts books out faster than most authors. On average it takes a year for the next book to come out. Richelle has been know to put out multiple books in the same year. The release date may seem long to you but if you do the math it's only 7 months between the release of Silver Shadows. And if you take the dates in consideration it's really a little over 6 months.
