How do you get inspired to write?

Nikki Grace My grandmother Grace Finlayson Lennan was a librarian. She graduated with a degree in library science in 1916 from Portland University. She lived to age 98. She was a wonderful wit and had a delightful mind. She selected books for me to read all my childhood and beyond. She provided me with my own library of children books. Looking at them in my tiny bedroom as I fell asleep made me happy. Grace wrote wonderful letters and we always discussed the books we were reading. She entertained in a marvelous room filled with books in her quiet peaceful home. It was a sanctuary to me. One sweet visit, I told her that she should write a book. She answered "At least one of us should." I think I knew from that day I would write a book.
