What really makes or breaks a book for you? Like, what is something that will make you put a book down and never pick it up again, and what make you never want to put the book down?

Good question. I'm a character person. I like characters I can feel and see and relate to somehow. If they grab me, then I'm usually hooked, even if the plot is less riveting. If the characters don't feel real to me or the plot seems contrived, I'll get bored quickly and have trouble finishing the book.

Can you please post another Nikolas POV scene from Book 1 on your blog? Maybe the events following when Sara fell off the cliff from his POV? I'd really love that! I understand now that you have no intentions to write a Nikolas book apart from a few scenes in book 3 and appreciate all you efforts to keep fans happy.
