Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Geoffrey M. Cooper I’ve spent my career in medical research, including positions as a department chair and dean, and have dealt with all too many cases of fraud. Scientific misconduct and the pressures that drive it are major concerns that I’ve wanted to write about for years. They dramatically bring home just how human scientists really are, with all of their faults and frailties.
