Population growth is a major issue these days, and I thought it would be interesting to write a dystopian novel centered on an extreme version of population control, whereby the government implements laws requiring someone to die before another can be born--essentially population neutral. Although I take an extreme position on population control, it's founded in the reality that world population is growing faster than the world will be able to sustain. At some point, something will have to change!

I first need to say, I am LOVING your books! I adore every character- have found myself laughing and even audibly gasping which I have enver done while reading. I just read the first two in The Kingfall Histories. I now am seeing that they are a follow up to The Fatemarked Epic. Do you recommend reading that BEFORE the Kingfall Histories? Would I benefit by reading those prior to the rest of the Kingfall Histories?
