Aiden Grace asked Penelope Douglas:

I know you only lightly touched on the second generation in Next to Never( and scenes in Adrenaline), but did you have fun playing around with the genetics from the originals when you created their kids? Did you keep their parents personalities in mind when writing them, or did they just inspire you on their own?

Penelope Douglas Oh, good question! Honestly, they just developed on their own, but I think I'll have a chance to explore them more when I delve into their stories. Maybe we'll see an edge to Dylan that resembles her father, and we already see Hunter's more alternative nature, like his mother has. Madoc will, I'm sure, have to give Kade some sage advice, because he'll no doubt see himself in his son's misguided behavior. There's lots to explore, and I know the parent's will see themselves in their kids and their pasts will come up.

Thanks for the question!
