Is "Alice in the wonderland" an inspiration behind writing "Caraval"?

Stephanie Garber Great question! I love Alice in Wonderland, but it wasn't one of my inspirations. When I wrote Caraval I wanted it to feel over the top and colorful, like a Baz Luhrmann movie meets a Florence + the Machine song. Those were two of my biggest inspirations. :)
