Which model Triumph did you purchase and what is its year of manufacture? Approximately how many miles per year do you ride? Is this your first bike?Did you take a safety course? ATGAT? Or, since you're in Wisconsin, do you eschew wearing a helmet? (I like your mind; I hope that you're protecting your noggin). Have you ever read anything by Maynard Hershon?

Holy cow. I really blew this one. Sorry it took six months to scroll down and see this question.
I'm on my second Triumph, a 2017 Thruxton R I bought new last year. I ride between 2k-3k miles per year generally. It's my third bike. I didn't take the safety course, I just got my temps and rode around for a year and took the road test. Passed with flying colors. I wear a helmet, gloves, and armored jacket at all times. Riders who don't wear lids are morons.
Not familiar with Mr. Hershon's work.
