Hi Brylee! I'm delighted you're enjoying the series. Okay, so here's the scoop on the next two books...
Of all the girls at Stranje House, Sera's mind is the most complicated and challenging to write, but she is also the most observant. That's why I think she's the perfect person to tell us the final story, she is sure to give us a satisfying wrap up. I'm excited to get inside her head and see things from her perspective.
Book four is from Maya's point of view. Maya is going to surprize you. When I started writing it I realized Maya is not the calm person everyone thinks she is. She has a storm brewing inside. Maya is unique and interesting to write. I can't wait for you to read it. I'll be sending out an excerpt to newsletter subscribers in the next month or so.
Here's the first few lines:
All the world is sound. Even if I were blind, I would still be able to see. It is as if everything hums—the trees, the air, stones, and people—especially people. They all sing songs.
Some songs are more dangerous than others.
Keep me posted on how you feel about Tess's story - I loved that ending. She's amazing and I miss writing her. Lady Jane's book was tons of fun to write. Alexander is a hoot. Can't wait to see what you think of them.
