We lived an African bush life and the story describes our familiar with humour and understanding, powerfully sharing the writer's sense of adventure in every footstep. Even had we been townies or unfamiliar with southern Africa and not english-speaking, I'm sure we would have been enthralled as much as I was. I would love to revisit it.(less)
