Why does this author keep sending me SPAM emails with offers for his book? It's happened multiple times. After sending each email he deletes the user account so that I can't respond to him directly and ask him to stop contacting me. I'm doing it here. Brett Arquette, please stop spamming me through my Goodreads account.

honestly, i thought someone was using the poor author to scam people, since the profile was deleted and the message didn't appear in the inbox. I mean, i'd give it a try if the mail didn't look sketchy af, and the promotional site so poorly done.
Ended up reporting suspicious activity to Goodreads.(less)
