Why does this author keep sending me SPAM emails with offers for his book? It's happened multiple times. After sending each email he deletes the user account so that I can't respond to him directly and ask him to stop contacting me. I'm doing it here. Brett Arquette, please stop spamming me through my Goodreads account.

I got an email from Goodreads on February 13, 2018 saying:

Thank you for taking the time to bring this matter to our attention, though we sincerely apologize for the delayed response. Self-promotional messages can be considered spam and violate our Terms of Service. Given this, the account has been removed from the site.
