Why does this author keep sending me SPAM emails with offers for his book? It's happened multiple times. After sending each email he deletes the user account so that I can't respond to him directly and ask him to stop contacting me. I'm doing it here. Brett Arquette, please stop spamming me through my Goodreads account.
Eilonwy I just got my second spam from this guy in 6 weeks (December 9 and today).

I don't even know why he's targeting me. The first one said "I see you love Orson Scott Card" (nope) and the second one said "I see you love thrillers" (nope again).

Also, both of my spams came to my personal address, which is marked in my GR settings as "Share with no one," so I'm not sure how he got hold of it, but the email was definitely associated with Goodreads.

I contacted Goodreads this morning and filed a complaint about this author, but his books are still listed here, so it doesn't seem like they're doing anything to stop him. Very disappointing. (less)
