Rodney
Rodney asked Lois Lowry:

Considering many viewers of the movie, The Giver, may not have already read the book, what would you suggest to them The Giver offers that other dystopian novels/movies don't?

Alivia
Alivia asked Lois Lowry:

The giver was recently adapted into a film where many changes were made to the story and the characters. On NPR you said you wished you had written the book like it was changed in the film. Did you mean the way they changed the setting in the film, or the characters in the film as well? I was a bit disappointed in the character changes in the film adaptation. Thank you for writing The Giver.

Soultaker17
Soultaker17 asked Lois Lowry:

In your book Gossamer, what inspired the realistic aspect of the story and what was the feeling you were hoping to evoke from the reader from the book in general?

Annabelle Mallory
Annabelle Mallory asked Lois Lowry:

Do you write to further explore your subconscious mind, to get your feelings and opinions across to the reader, or to get away from reality (or any combination of the three)?
