What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Pia Manning Yes, writing is a craft that improves with practice, and effort. That being said, don't let the process consume you to the point where you can't get the story out of your head and into ours. Sit down and write, cuz it's impossible to revise, edit or share a blank screen or piece of paper.
Establish a media platform. Network with other authors, reviewers and readers who are invested in your genre. These kind people can serve as unofficial mentors with valuable experience they're willing to impart.
