What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Kristine Allen Write! Don't let anyone tell you that you can't! BUT! Do it the right way... meaning, if you are aspiring to be professional writer and want your books to be viewed as professional works, you CAN self-publish, but use a professional editor, a professional cover designer, etc. Remember the old adage, "you have to spend money to make money," but don't do it for the money, or you will fall on your face (my belief, not proven statistics). Meaning, you have to have the drive and the heart behind your words to have people fall in love with them. Find a mentor. I did, and she was a God send! Sybil Bartel is an amazing author and person and she was invaluable in my journey!
