Hello Louisa, I am so in love with the way you write and tell a story. I finished the book in one sitting. I couldn't put it down. I didn't predict the end. It felt good. Were any parts inspired by a true story? The discussion in the end really make a reader think and I devoured every page of that novel. Great work! It isn't inspired by any one true story - although I fear that there are too many Hephzi and Reb's in the world who have more to bear than we dare to imagine. I tried to tell a story that was important.
