Suzanne Diffine
The recent political upheaval, the violence and vitriol between opposing groups, and the inability to discuss important issues, had a profound effect on me. It inspired me to write a satirical poem designed to make us laugh at ourselves and our current situation. I hope it inspires readers to chuckle and then to talk to each other and listen to each other.
