What exactly does it mean by Esther getting 'fitted'? And what is the brown bix she carries out of the hospital? Also, why does she start bleeding after she has sex, does that have something to do with the fitting she got?

He never tells Esther why, but he can see from where (perhaps she had a polyp, who knows). It’s not because of the fitting, it’s from having sex.(less)
