Only just started reading this. Can anybody explain to me what the dedication is all about? Who is Amanda and what did she do?

Cynthia Well, she married him. So she gets to be the person he makes some goofy dedication to in each of his books.

beach horrorreader I think that’s an inside joke for the author and his friends. We’re not tight so I don’t know the answer.
