Please, please tell me that the description of the Books of Darkness store in "Evil Librarian" was a purposeful use of D&D style flavor text! It tickled me so much I was forced to read the passage out loud to my geeky friends. I cannot wait to get this book into the hands of YAs and several adults.

Michelle Knudsen I love this question! I will admit that I think it snuck into the first draft under my conscious radar, but I really liked it when I realized I'd written it that way and kept it in as a tiny nod to my D&D days. I love that you saw it!! :)

Calen and Meg were amazing main characters, and I really appreciated and admired the masterful way you developed their characters and wrote the alternating points of view. Do you have any tips on how to write unique character voices and points of view? Also, what would be your advice in general to aspiring authors?
