Emelia asked Karim Soliman:

Hi Karim ! I like the premise of your book The Warrior's Path. A Warrior forced to kill his father and flee to a haunted desert is quite an undertaking ! Where did you come up with the idea. How long did it take you to write it and how many books will be in the series?

Karim Soliman Where did I come up with idea? That’s a really tough question, Emelia. But I can assure you it has nothing to do with my relationship with my father. Believe me, it’s not that bad :)
I guess it was all about the mood I was in when I started writing the story back in 2013. Imagine yourself living in a city under curfew for a few weeks; quite an ambiance to write in, right?
It took me 9 months to finish the first draft of The Warrior’s Path, but it took me much longer just to consider editing it. Between those random bouts of editing, I finished the drafts of two sequels. For the time being, it’s too early to talk about sequels, but I did already, didn’t I? :)
