Hi, Melanie. I've been reading recently about the pros and cos of traditional publishing versus self-publishing. To be honest the traditional publishing scares me. I've been reading a lot about losing control of your work, working on time crunches, and being unhappy with decisions that the publishing company has made. But self-publishing requires a lot of money to do everything the traditional publishers did. Help???

Melanie Dickerson Joy, there are pros and cons to both, as you say. You just have to decide what's most important to you and what it is you will be happy with. I wish you the best.
