Goodreads asked Adam Ingle:

How do you get inspired to write?

Adam Ingle As far as inspiration for stories goes, I don't really have to do much. It seems like there's always something struggling to get out. More than I know what to do with. I get lots of my ideas while driving or failing to sleep. I get ideas from signs, things I see on the side of the road, but most of all it's those long miles that force my brain to come up with ideas to keep me entertained. It's the same thing with trying to sleep. I've struggled with insomnia most of my life and laying awake in bed for hours in a daze seems to send the creative side of my brain into overdrive. I think the excessive creativity might actually be why I can't sleep most of the time.
