Rios I think the book was well written and I can see what people would like about it. Orwell brings up some interesting ideas about government and philosophy. The complexity in relationships between characters was well done particularly between Winston and Julia, but in my personal opinion I didn't like in so much (I rated it 2 stars) it was so dark and heavy... I guess I just like books with a happy ending. (less)
