How do you get inspired to write?

K.G. Petrone This is a hard question to answer. However, as a "Story Teller," the storyline comes easier than putting it in black and white on paper. I can be inspired by many different everyday situations, places, or observances.

Such as with my book, "The Menacing House," which was based on an actual nightmare. Therefore, I guess I let one of the facts vs fictions out of the bag. Some of my poems have been inspired by the death of a loved one, divorce, 911, daily news chatter, etc.
