Not this one. I'd recommend All Souls or Tomorrow In The Battle Think On Me. His style is very similar in all his books but this one has many longueurs where I found myself thinking "GET ON WITH IT !!"........and I'm a fan.

I think this one, A Heart So White, is a good place to start. But really, start anywhere with any writer.
