Hi Ms. Dickerson! The places in your books are also so awesome. Are the places in your books real, based off real places, or do you created your own places? Also, how do you pick the settings for your stories. I especially love the setting in your book, the Healer's Apprentice, which is so far my favorite book. Also, I wanted to thank you for making appropriate Christian books that have clean romance and a good story.

Hi, Savvy. Hagenheim is a fictional place based somewhat on Hildesheim, Germany, where I spent one summer. I do sometimes use real places, like Berkhamsted Castle in The Silent Songbird, and real people like King Richard II alongside fictional places like Glynval. In The Orphan's Wish, I use the real town of Luneburg along with Hagenheim. I use whatever works for the story, and sometimes vice versa. :-)

HI Melanie! You know I LOVE your books. This is an author question for you and something I was thinking about after re-reading the Healer's Apprentice. How do you plan the setting of your books? What thoughts go into it? And, what is the biggest thing you consider when putting in a Christian theme for each book? Is it part of the premise, etc? Thanks so much for all that you do. You are SO inspiring <3

Hello Melanie, my questions are: What is the order of the YA Romance Fairy Tales series? Everywhere I look has different answers. Are you planning on writing any more books in the YA Romance Fairy Tales series or are you moving onto different things? I would love to be able to claim that I have read all of your books, so I am trying to keep on top of them. TBH, I would even read Your shopping list. Thanks, Rachel
