Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Al Cassidy Growing up in a small town, where everyone talked and everyone knew at least everyone, an abandoned mental institution was not often overlooked. At least by the young people. When adults were asked what happened inside Pennhurst (the inspiration for the story), you either got a sugar-coated answer or were told to mind your business. Some have tried to tell tales of Pennhurst as a horrible, murderous place. My story is capturing the spirit of adventurous curiosity while bucking the hierarchal society rules.
