Emilym465 Tomorrow Morning told Alma that he had not forced Ambrose to have sex with him any more than he had forced the Reverend to adopt him or the villagers to love him. He knows the effect he has on people.
judith Call it what you will, it led to Ambrose Pike's death from the Tahitian custom of "grief cutting." Tomorrow Morning said when Ambrose rebuffed him, he did not defer (as Alma had), indicating Ambrose wasn't a willing participant. But why then did Ambrose keep the nude drawings?
