Call it what you will, it led to Ambrose Pike's death from the Tahitian custom of "grief cutting." Tomorrow Morning said when Ambrose rebuffed him, he did not defer (as Alma had), indicating Ambrose wasn't a willing participant. But why then did Ambrose keep the nude drawings?
