How do you get inspired to write?

Rori I. Sometimes it's an odd dream which stays with you. Sometimes it's the way somebody opens their wallet, or the particular smell of the air early in the morning. Sometimes it's a phrase, or an add, or maybe a song.

Inspiration has its own mind. I cannot force it. When I need it, I cannot recreate the conditions which provoked it the previous time.

But I know that something has to be different. Routines might help some, but writing inspiration itself comes when something extraordinary happens: because you're a writer, you'll notice, even if to somebody else it seems like the most mundane thing in the universe.

But you're entranced. Stories gallop through your head, characters talk their way into your heart...
And you cannot wait to sit down so you could write about it!
