Goodreads asked Doug Limbrick:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Doug Limbrick Writing a book takes time so be patient and be prepared to do the ground work. Regardless of the topic and the the type of writing (fiction or nonfiction) its important to do the research, talk to people who know the subject or who may have some information, etc. The more you understand your subject the more confident you will feel when you start your writing. Thinking about your subject is important and exploring any emotional aspects of the story can be very rewarding in helping to fully develop the subject.
