Taran Matharu It was more for fan fiction writers to make of it what they want :P. But I may address it if I ever return to the Summoner series in a few years. The statues are the sentient peoples that inhabit the ether, the broken statue is a race that has now devolved to become non-sentient and savage - The Oni.
