What is the title of the book on your son? I agree that the decision to write about Autism should not be taken lightllyThe problem is that there are so few good books available on the topic. There are lots of books written by writers on the conference circuit so that they can have objects to sell and autograph on their speaking tours. Most of Temple Grandin's book fall into this category.

I don't have a book about autism, but I did write the intro to a book about Narrative and Literacy that details why a story about my son is better than a diagnosis or statistics or bio-chemical information, as important as those things might be.

Dave, I am interested in your list of picture books that you put together to read with your family. Last year I read all of the GR nominated books, and ended up reading all of your reviews of them. This year, I see the category has been deleted. I'd really like to read the books on your replacement list. Are you sharing the list?
