Hi John,
Thanks for your question. I grew up watching television and have watched a ton of movies in my lifetime so I am very visual. When I sit to write a novel, I see it play out in my imagination like a movie. With that in mind, my job as a writer is to write down what I see. I write scene by scene until I have a complete story.
I agree, I think Elle Fanning would have made a great Wildflower. But I imagine there is someone out there who could embody her almost as well.

Hi Susan, While searching for a book to read, Lily's Song popped up. I read about the book to find that it is a sequel to The Secret Sense of Wildflower - which naturally I must read first. My question to you is, is this book more for the younger reader - young adult? I'd love to read this book and possibly suggest it to my book club ladies but they like me are in their sixty's and seventies!

I just finished, The Secret Sense of Wildflower. Now I want to read every book you've written. Wildflower's story kept me engrossed right to the end. In fact, I was saddened when I finished, but thrilled to learn there is a sequel. This book should be read and studied in a social class...there is so much to discuss. Your writing style fascinates me. How did you come up with the perfect name: Wildflower?
