Hi Roxane, I'm a huge fan of 'An Untamed State' and in the novel you mention a lullaby about a mother slaughtering her children and this lullaby was related to Mireille by her Jamaican friend Elsa. I'm just wondering, is this a real lullaby? I'm Jamaican and I've never heard of it so I'm curious if its rooted in historical fact or if this is just poetic license on your part.
