When I was in my twenties, I just got a craving to do something with my voice and thoughts, the same way one gets a craving to do anything else. I stopped for awhile, and realized that it wasn't going to work. I kept coming to the realization that the conversations I was having with myself were more interesting than the ones I had with others.
